Ha! That's a great vintage 80's scene there-- looking at a poster of a wedged shaped car while working at the mall. There were an awful lot of wedges back then, but the first and wedgie-est I can think of is the Lotus Esprit.

In the mid 80's there was a poster that came out of a car called the "wedge". That, I believe, was the nickname. I am trying to find out the real name.

If you took a wedge, one that you would use to split firewood, and turned it on it's side...that is what this car looked like. Narrow in the front...and as you worked your way toward the back it bacame higher until it rounded at the back. It was custom painted two-tone orange/silver. The car was hot...real hot.

I would look at this poster several times a week...as I worked in the mall.

Do you have any idea what this car was? I can not find info on it anywhere on the web. I have speant hours searching for it.
